Description
Condemned Labz Convict Stim
A high-stimulant pre-workout built around 300mg of caffeine plus several additional stimulant compounds. This is one of the strongest products we stock, and it is not a beginner's pre-workout.
Start with half a scoop. This is not a formality.
The tub is labelled 50 servings, but a full serving is two scoops — so it is really 25 full servings, and the numbers below are for that full dose.
Condemned Labz themselves recommend starting at half a scoop. We would go further: start at half a scoop, train, and see how you feel before going anywhere near two. There are several active stimulants here and they do not all behave like caffeine.
What is actually in it (full two-scoop serving)
| L-Citrulline | 4,000mg |
| Beta-Alanine | 2,500mg |
| Caffeine Anhydrous | 300mg |
| L-Tyrosine | 500mg |
| Mucuna Pruriens (99% L-Dopa) | 300mg |
| 2-Aminoisoheptane HCl (DMHA) | 225mg |
| Higenamine | 50mg |
| Paradoxine (Grains of Paradise) | 15mg |
| Niacin | 15mg |
| Yohimbine HCl | 3mg |
| BioPerine | 5mg |
⚠ The stimulant load, explained honestly
The marketing for this product argues that it is more than a stimulant bomb. Looking at the label, the opposite is closer to true — the stimulant side is extensive while the performance side is modest.
The stimulants:
- Caffeine, 300mg — three quarters of the 400mg daily figure the FDA cites, before any coffee
- DMHA, 225mg — a stimulant that is subject to ongoing regulatory dispute. The FDA has stated it does not consider DMHA a lawful dietary ingredient. It is also WADA-prohibited
- Higenamine, 50mg — a beta-2 agonist, prohibited by WADA at all times and flagged by the FDA
- Yohimbine HCl, 3mg — an alpha-2 antagonist that commonly produces anxiety, elevated heart rate and raised blood pressure
The performance side: 4g of citrulline sits below the 6 to 8g range where the research shows consistent pump and endurance benefits, and 2.5g of beta-alanine is under the standard 3.2g dose. Both are reasonable; neither is generous.
We would rather you understood that clearly. If you are buying this expecting a well-dosed performance formula that happens to have stimulants, it is closer to the reverse.
⚠ Who must not take this
- Any tested athlete. DMHA and higenamine are both WADA-prohibited, and yohimbine is a problem in several federations. A positive test here is not a borderline case
- Anyone with a cardiovascular condition, high blood pressure or arrhythmia. Four stimulant compounds acting through different mechanisms is a substantial cardiovascular load
- Anyone with an anxiety disorder. Yohimbine in particular reliably provokes anxiety in susceptible people
- Anyone on prescription medication, especially antidepressants. Mucuna pruriens supplies L-DOPA, a dopamine precursor, which can interact with MAOIs and other psychiatric medications. Speak to your doctor
- Anyone new to pre-workouts. There are far better places to start
- Anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing
Do not stack it with anything
Condemned Labz specifically advise against combining this with their fat burner Arsynist unless both doses are halved or taken 6 to 8 hours apart, because both are stimulant-based.
The same applies to any stimulant fat burner, energy drink or coffee. On a Convict Stim day, this is your entire stimulant intake.
What the non-stimulant ingredients do
- L-Citrulline raises arginine, feeding nitric oxide production and vasodilation. 4g is a working dose, though below the researched range
- Beta-Alanine raises muscle carnosine over weeks of consistent use, buffering the acidity that limits hard sets. The tingling it causes is paraesthesia — harmless, and not a sign the product is working
- L-Tyrosine is a precursor to dopamine and noradrenaline, studied for cognitive performance under stress
- Grains of Paradise (Paradoxine) is studied in relation to brown adipose tissue activation — the same mechanism explained on our SuperHuman Burn page
- BioPerine is black pepper extract, included to improve absorption of everything else — which in a formula like this also means the stimulants
How to take it
- Half a scoop on your first use. Not one scoop. Half.
- Two scoops is the full serving, and most people should never need it.
- Never exceed two scoops in 24 hours.
- No other caffeine that day.
- Morning or early afternoon only. 300mg of caffeine at 5pm still leaves around 150mg at 11pm, and the other stimulants have their own durations.
- Not every session. Tolerance builds quickly and there is nowhere above this to go.
If you are not sure this is for you
It very likely is not, and that is not a problem.
CBUM Thavage gives you 6g of pure citrulline and 3.2g of beta-alanine — better performance dosing than this — with scoop flexibility from roughly 153mg to 305mg of caffeine and no exotic stimulants. 110 Percent is moderate-stim with 9g citrulline malate.
Both are better first choices, and better daily drivers.
Come and talk to us. Our staff earn no commission, so nobody here makes more by selling you the strongest tub on the shelf. We would rather ask what you are training for and point you at the right product.
Who this is for
- Experienced stimulant users who have established their tolerance well above 300mg and want something beyond caffeine
- People who are not drug tested in any capacity
- Anyone saving a strong pre-workout for occasional heavy sessions rather than daily use
Frequently asked questions
How much caffeine is in Convict Stim?
150mg per scoop, 300mg at the full two-scoop serving — plus several additional stimulant compounds that are not caffeine.
How many servings are in the tub?
It is labelled 50, but a full serving is two scoops, so 25 full servings.
What is DMHA?
2-aminoisoheptane, a stimulant. The FDA has stated it does not consider DMHA a lawful dietary ingredient and has issued warning letters regarding it. It is also WADA-prohibited.
Can I take it if I am drug tested?
No. DMHA and higenamine are both WADA-prohibited, and yohimbine causes problems in several federations.
Will it make me anxious?
It might. Yohimbine at 3mg reliably provokes anxiety and elevated heart rate in susceptible people, and it is combined here with 300mg of caffeine and two further stimulants.
Can I stack it with a fat burner?
No. Condemned Labz specifically advise against combining it with their own fat burner unless doses are halved and spaced 6 to 8 hours apart. Treat it as your entire stimulant intake for the day.
Is the pump side well dosed?
Adequately rather than generously. 4g citrulline is below the 6 to 8g researched range and 2.5g beta-alanine is under the standard 3.2g.
Should I start with a full scoop?
No. Start with half, train, and assess before going higher.
This stuff is so good and it hits so damn hard, even for just one scoop.
Decided to give this product a try after trying a lot of different pre workouts. This one hits! Great energy, great focus, and flavor is awesome. White magic reminds me of the white Gatorade that has that cherry taste. Mixed well and easy to drink. Great product. Highly recommend.
