Description
I Prevail T2 Rise
A thermogenic built around T2 (3,5-diiodothyronine) alongside stimulants for energy and appetite control.
⚠ What T2 actually is — read this before buying
T2 is 3,5-diiodothyronine, a thyroid hormone metabolite. That is a meaningfully different category from a botanical fat burner, and it deserves stating clearly.
Your thyroid produces mainly T4, which is converted in peripheral tissues into T3 — the active hormone that sets your metabolic rate. T2 is a further metabolite, produced as T3 is broken down.
The interest in T2 is that research suggests it may increase metabolic rate through mitochondrial mechanisms while being less suppressive of your own thyroid axis than T3 itself. That is the proposition — a metabolic effect with less of the shutdown associated with taking active thyroid hormone.
The honest caveats, and they matter:
- Much of the research is in animal models rather than controlled human trials. The human evidence base is thin
- "Less suppressive" is not "non-suppressive." This acts on a genuine endocrine system, and the assumption that it carries no risk of feedback suppression is not established
- Thyroid function is medical territory. Anything acting on it deserves more caution than a botanical
⚠ Do not use this if you have any thyroid condition, or take thyroid medication, without your doctor's involvement. Thyroid medication is dosed precisely, and adding a thyroid metabolite on top is not something to improvise.
⚠ Cycle it rather than running it continuously, and get thyroid bloodwork — TSH, free T4 and free T3 — before and after. That is the only way to know what is actually happening.
⚠ If you take biotin, stop it 48 to 72 hours before any thyroid blood test. Biotin interferes with thyroid immunoassays and can produce results mimicking hyperthyroidism. People have been misdiagnosed on that basis.
The stimulant side
T2 Rise pairs the thyroid metabolite with stimulants, which covers the parts T2 does not: energy, focus and appetite suppression while dieting.
Caffeine is the ingredient with by far the strongest evidence in this entire category — a genuine thermogenic and a genuine appetite suppressant. Most of what any fat burner does traces back to it.
⚠ Count your total daily caffeine. People take a fat burner in the morning, a pre-workout in the afternoon and coffee throughout, and that total climbs faster than expected. The FDA cites 400mg daily for healthy adults.
If you use both a fat burner and a pre-workout, run one of them stimulant-free. That is the practical answer, and it protects your sleep — which matters more for fat loss than the supplement does.
If stimulants are the problem, our T2 Rise Non-Stim gives you the same thyroid mechanism without them.
What actually drives fat loss
We say this on every fat loss page because it does not change.
- A sustained caloric deficit — moderate rather than extreme, because extreme is unsustainable and produces more metabolic adaptation
- Adequate protein, which preserves muscle while you lose fat
- Resistance training, giving your body a reason to keep that muscle
- Sleep, which affects hunger hormones and decision-making directly
- Consistency, which beats intensity over months
No supplement substitutes for those, and our staff earn no commission, so nobody here benefits from suggesting otherwise.
Specs
| T2 | 3,5-diiodothyronine |
| Stimulants | Included — count your daily total |
| ⚠ Cycling | Recommended, not optional |
| ⚠ Bloodwork | Thyroid panel before and after |
How to take it
- Start at half a serving to assess tolerance.
- Morning, on an empty stomach if it contains an alpha-2 antagonist.
- Not within six hours of bed. Sleep loss undermines fat loss directly.
- ⚠ Cycle it — typically four to eight weeks followed by a break.
- ⚠ Get thyroid bloodwork before and after.
- Alongside a genuine deficit, or it is doing nothing useful.
Who this is for
- Experienced dieters who already have the fundamentals in place
- Competitors in the later stages of a prep, where metabolic adaptation has set in
- Anyone who has stalled on a deficit that was previously working
- People willing to get bloodwork and cycle properly
Who this is not for
⚠ Anyone with a thyroid condition or taking thyroid medication, without their doctor. This is the most important line on the page.
Anyone not already in a caloric deficit. Get that right first — it is free, and it is the only thing that actually works.
Anyone unwilling to get bloodwork or cycle it. This acts on an endocrine system.
Beginners. Start with a deficit, protein and training. This is not a first purchase.
Anyone with anxiety, high blood pressure or a heart condition.
Anyone already taking a high-stimulant pre-workout — run one of them stim-free.
Tested athletes should check with their federation.
Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing.
Stack it with: protein and creatine, which preserve muscle while you diet — the two things determining whether you end up leaner or just smaller.
Frequently asked questions
What is T2?
3,5-diiodothyronine, a thyroid hormone metabolite produced as T3 is broken down. Research suggests it may raise metabolic rate through mitochondrial mechanisms.
Is it safer than T3?
It is proposed to be less suppressive of your own thyroid axis — but "less suppressive" is not "non-suppressive", and much of the research is in animal models.
Do I need bloodwork?
Yes. TSH, free T4 and free T3 before and after. It is the only way to know what is actually happening.
Should I cycle it?
Yes — typically four to eight weeks followed by a break. This is not a continuous-use product.
Can I take it with thyroid medication?
Not without your doctor. Thyroid medication is dosed precisely and this is not something to improvise around.
Can I take it with a pre-workout?
Count the caffeine carefully. The practical answer is to run one of them stimulant-free.
Should I stop biotin before testing?
Yes, 48 to 72 hours beforehand. Biotin interferes with thyroid immunoassays and can produce results mimicking hyperthyroidism.
Will it make me lose fat?
A caloric deficit makes you lose fat. This supports the process — it does not replace it.
This has become a staple in my morning routine. It’s enough of a pick me up to really help my focus and clarity for the early mornings and I feel great throughout the day!
It works pretty good I dropped good amount of weight in a short time
Still a bit early in my use of this product but does provide some pretty workout energy.
